Thanks go to Caitlin Johnson for her intelligent, insightful, penetrating review of Sky Sandwiches. This is the first review I’ve received of my first full-length collection, the one that may set the tone for future reviews. It was hard to read some of her assessments — she herself acknowledged that her evaluation might be harsher than I expected — but I do appreciate the time and attention she invested in responding to my collection. And I hope that, ultimately, she did enjoy Sky Sandwiches somehow, some way.
